Everyone has the planners in their groups of friends. The friends that you know will make the reservation, plan the trip, handle the ordering at a group dinner, or simply will always have a band-aid, phone charger or hair tie in their bag, the 'just in case' kind of girls.
These two 'just in case girls' were both raised in Greenwich, Connecticut and became fast friends in high school. After high school they headed to college in Boston and Washington, D.C. and both landed back in NYC to start their careers.
Danielle has always worked in event production with Stella McCartney, LVMH, Conde Nast early on in her career and ultimately finding her niche in the NYC restaurant industry. In the past ten years she has opened seven restaurants and spearheaded everything from large scale branding initiatives, event production, and food festivals to smaller more intimate group dinners. With the NYC restaurant clientele as her customer, she has truly seen, and been asked to do it all.
Alana has spent the past decade in public relations within the high-end interior design industry. With a panache for entertaining and a belief that the beauty lies within the details, event planning has always come to her as second nature. Constantly surrounded by creatives, when it comes to event design and execution, her organization and orchestration has landed her at the top of her field.
As two type A creatives with over two decades of event experience between them, Danielle and Alana joined forces in 2016 to create and curate moments and events professionally with their company, Weaver Events, which is based out of New York City.
